Serving Buckhead, Atlanta
Handcrafted cutting boards
in Buckhead, Georgia
My workshop is in Johns Creek, north of Buckhead along GA 400. I build hardwood boards for Buckhead homes and client gifts that look good on the table and still hold up to everyday use.
Local and handmade
Built for Buckhead kitchens.
I’m Ishtyaq Qadri (Wosta), and I founded Koshur Chaan in 2015. I work directly with every Buckhead customer on the wood, walnut, maple or cherry, and on proportions that work for daily prep and entertaining. Boards start at $50 and vary by wood and dimensions.
A handmade board is an alternative to mass-produced kitchenware: built one at a time, with natural grain variation and the dimensions and wood combination you choose.
I balance clean lines and matched grain with the strength needed for regular prep, serving and entertaining.
Buckhead entertains. A walnut charcuterie board travels well to a Chastain Park concert, sets the table for a holiday dinner off West Paces Ferry, and makes a polished thank-you for a client near Lenox Square or Phipps Plaza.
For closing gifts along Peachtree Road or a set of boards for a firm’s clients, I can make several at once when I have notice. Each board is finished by hand and packed to arrive ready to give.
For Buckhead, my suggestion is a solid walnut charcuterie board with carved handles. Walnut’s dark grain looks at home in a formal dining room, the handles make it easy to carry from kitchen to table, and it is substantial enough to feel like a real gift when you hand it to a client or a new homeowner.
I also make boards for Johns Creek, Alpharetta, Atlanta, Duluth and Suwanee, and for customers across Georgia.

Popular boards
Board styles I build most
Edge-grain walnut
Walnut’s deep color suits a formal dining room, and it is still tough enough for daily prep.
Charcuterie and entertaining
Walnut and cherry serving boards bring warmth to a cocktail table, dinner gathering, or carefully planned weekend brunch.
Custom gift boards
Custom proportions and hardwood patterns let the piece complement a particular kitchen, bar, or entertaining style.
Gift ideas
Gifts for Buckhead friends, family and clients
Popular requests include executive corporate gifts, realtor closing gifts for Buckhead homes, and handcrafted entertaining boards for gatherings and celebrations.
I pack gift orders carefully for shipping, or you can pick them up at the Johns Creek workshop by appointment.
Board care
Caring for your board
Washing
Wash by hand with mild soap, dry it straight away and store it upright, away from the stove.
Oiling
Mineral oil once a month, then a thin coat of board butter if you serve on it often.
Refreshing
Light sanding at 220-grit removes surface marks. Re-oil and it’s ready for the table again.
